If you want the big catch, you must be willing to launch into the deep waters.

✍️ Devotional Thought
When Jesus told Peter to launch into the deep water and let down his nets, Peter hesitated: “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and caught nothing.” He had experience, evidence, and exhaustion on his side. But then Peter added the words that changed everything: “But at Your word, I will let down the nets.”

Obedience to Jesus often requires us to go beyond our comfort zone, our understanding, and our logic. The shallow waters are safe, but the deep waters are where miracles happen. It’s in the deep water that you discover both your limits and God’s limitless power.

Every disciple of Jesus will face this test: will you stay in the shallow end, relying on your own knowledge, or will you launch into the deep, trusting His word? The “big catch” — life transformation, spiritual fruit, eternal impact — only comes to those who obey in faith, even when it doesn’t make sense.
