Devotional Thought:
Following Jesus isn’t always easy—or obvious. Paul says to “imitate God,” but how do you do that in a world that doesn’t? Sometimes, darkness looks more fun. Sometimes culture sends mixed messages. Sometimes, you just don’t know what the wise choice is. That’s why Paul tells us to live with our eyes open. Pay attention. Be wise. Don't just do what feels good—do what is good. Because darkness might look appealing now, but it never delivers what it promises. Living in the light might feel harder at first, but it leads to freedom, peace, and joy that lasts. Jesus didn’t just find you to forgive you. He found you to lead you—to teach you how to walk in the light, even when it’s confusing.
Reflection Question:
Where do you need wisdom right now to walk in the light—and are you actually asking God for it?

The book of Ephesians is a letter written by Paul while imprisoned in Rome. He wrote to encourage believers in Ephesus, a wealthy city known for trade and idol worship. These Christians had once been far from God but were now learning what it meant to be found in Him. Paul reminded them of their new identity in Christ and called them to live differently—treating others well, speaking kindly, obeying, and standing strong in faith through life’s challenges. Join us in this 14-day devotional as we unpack Ephesians and what it means to follow Jesus!
