Generosity is something that we are called to as a discipline, a life principle, not just a once-off act. Whether it is with our finances, our belongings, or our time - it blesses others when we choose to be generous, and gives others a glimpse of the generous character of our God.

Often when we are generous, we will also find blessing in it; it feels good to live generously and bless others!

But generousity isn't just about the giving, it is about the heart attitude we have when we give as well. It isn't just about the abundance, it is about the willingness with which we gave.

Lord, teach me how to live generously and bless others around me. I pray that my heart becomes more and more like Yours in loving the act of generosity. Amen.
