Imagine a weary warrior on the battlefield, drained and surrounded by enemies. Just as he’s about to fall, he hears the voice of his king calling out, “Stand strong! I am with you!”

At that moment, strength surges through him, not from his own might but from the king’s words. Renewed and empowered, he rises and fights on, knowing the king is fighting with him.

In the same way, when God speaks into our weariness, His words breathe life and strength into us. It’s His voice alone that revives us, reminding us that He fights on our behalf.

The word of the Lord is life to our bones. Maybe you’re currently going through a battle, and you feel weary. Maybe you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Be encouraged, when we humble ourselves before God, He strengthens us. He fights on our behalf.

God knew Daniel's needs, that there were real battles to be faced, and he met those needs by providing peace within the trial and an assurance to know that the God of the universe was fighting with Him. He will do the same for you.

Find a moment to be still with God. Ask Him to speak life into your bones and invite him into the battle. He will fight for you.

Lord, I pray that You would strengthen me by Your Word as I learn to trust that You are fighting with me and protecting me. Amen.
