Isaiah Week 2 – Day 2

Jesus grew up in Nazareth, a map dot town in the region of Galilea. The place was so poorly esteemed that when Nathanael heard about some guy named Jesus, he responded, “Can anything good come from Nazareth?”

But Isaiah 9 gives a very different description of Jesus' birthplace. The prophet tells of light and gladness and rejoicing—the place became a glory-fest! If you think your life (or your town) is boring, lousy, or even worthless, ask God to shine His glory and give you His joy. If He can do it in Nazareth, He can do it anywhere.
