100 Days of Prayer for Difficult Times: What to Pray During Your Hardest Daysنموونە

Oh, Father,
One of the hardest things about being in a difficult situation is the frightening feeling that I’m alone . . . the feeling that no one understands or empathizes with what I’m going through or that they don’t even want to make an effort to care about me. I try to be careful not to talk too much about my problems or even my feelings because I am afraid my friends get tired of hearing about them. It’s an isolating, lonely feeling. That makes me even more thankful for the reminders that you are always with me. You know what’s happening, and you care. That helps a lot. I close my eyes and picture you watching over me just like a mother hen watching over her chicks, protecting, guiding, and feeding. I remember I’m never really alone because you are always with me. Even when I’m scared. Even when I’m lonely.
Even when I can’t really sense your presence. You are here. You care. You love. You protect. You see what’s ahead, and you’re ready for it. I need your presence and protection, Lord. I’m forever grateful for it.
