100 Days of Prayer for Difficult Times: What to Pray During Your Hardest Daysنموونە

Sovereign God,
The thing about painful, stressful times in life is that I don’t know how long they’ll last. So right now, I’m staring into a black hole of relationship problems that brings pain, uncertainty, and confusion. It could go on for a long time, and that scares me. It’s no secret that I don’t make the best decisions when facing hard things in my life. Stress eating is my norm, and that’s not good. I just want the pain to be over. Sometimes I do remember to pray for your help. Honestly, I usually just tell you how I want you to solve the crisis or make the pain go away.
Why can’t I just trust that you will handle things? After all, your Word tells me you love me. Why is it so hard to trust you? I can look back at my experiences and see many times when you’ve protected, guided, and answered my prayers. It’s not like there’s no evidence of your power and your plan.
Oh God, I humbly ask you to forgive my constant struggle to trust you. Please grow my trust in you and deepen my faith in your love for me.
