When our compassion moves us to action, we wind up helping other people. Plus, we start to see more opportunities to show compassion. Most importantly, God is pleased with the good work we do! This doesn’t mean we show compassion to earn God’s approval or that God is angry if we miss an opportunity to show compassion. It means God cares far more about what we do than what we say or think about but never act on. Let’s choose to be people who turn our compassion into action God is pleased with!
