Think about a plant, tree, or garden you've cared for (or tried to!). What helped it grow? What happened when it didn't have the right environment?

According to Colossians 2:6–7, what does it look like to have your "roots grow down into" Christ? What are some signs of spiritual growth in a person's life?

James reminds us not to simply hear God's Word but to live it out. Why do you think it's often easier to gain knowledge than to put our faith into practice? What is one area where God may be calling you to obedience?

The message emphasized that spiritual growth is not about "being fed" but learning how to feed yourself. What are some practical ways you can spend time with God outside of Sunday mornings? How can our group encourage one another in developing those habits?

Pastor Jonathan highlighted several environments that help us grow as followers of Jesus: Groups, Serving, Giving, and Inviting others. Which of these comes most naturally to you? Which one could God be inviting you to take a next step in?

Take a few moments to quietly reflect on this question:
Is your faith journey currently planted in an environment where you can grow? Ask God, "What is one intentional next step You are inviting me to take to grow closer to You this week?"

Heavenly Father, thank You for desiring that we grow closer to You each day. Thank You for providing everything we need to flourish spiritually through Your Word, Your Spirit, and the community of believers. Help us not to simply hear Your truth but to live it out in our daily lives. Show each of us the next step You are calling us to take, and give us the courage to follow You faithfully. May our lives be deeply rooted in Christ, producing fruit that brings You glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
