“Worry is interest paid on trouble before it’s due.”
“Fear sees a problem. Faith sees a promise.”
Point 1: Worry Happens When We Forget Who Our Father Is
The issue isn’t whether God can provide.
It’s whether we remember who He is.
It’s whether we remember who He is.
Worry often comes from spiritual amnesia.
We forget:
God has been faithful before.
God has never abandoned us.
God already knows what we need.
We forget:
God has been faithful before.
God has never abandoned us.
God already knows what we need.
Am I focusing more on the size of my problem…or the greatness of my Father?
Point 2: Worry Grows When We Try to Control What Belongs to God
Trust and understanding aren’t always the same.
Sometimes God asks us to trust Him before He explains Himself.
Sometimes God asks us to trust Him before He explains Himself.
Peace doesn’t come because life is predictable.
Peace comes because God is unchanging.
Peace comes because God is unchanging.
Notice why we cast our cares.
Not because life is easy.
Because He cares.
Not because life is easy.
Because He cares.
Point 3: Trust Grows When We Choose God’s Promises Over Our Feelings
Even during drought, they continue bearing fruit.
Circumstances don’t determine stability. Roots do.
Circumstances don’t determine stability. Roots do.
Faith isn’t pretending everything is okay.
Faith is believing God is still good when everything isn’t okay.
Faith is believing God is still good when everything isn’t okay.

Practical Ways to Fight Worry:
4. Focus on today.
4. Focus on today.
God gives daily grace.
The enemy whispers: "What if?”
God answers: “I am.”
God answers: “I am.”
Whatever tomorrow holds…
The great I AM is already there.
The great I AM is already there.
Trust sends worry packing.
What burden have you been carrying that God never asked you to hold?
Lay down your worry.
Pick up His peace.
Pick up His peace.
