Prayer is the ordained act of drawing near to God in worship, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication, where the believer humbly depends on Him, aligns with His will, and seeks His intervention—not as empty form, but as sincere communion of the heart within covenant relationship, expressed through faith, reverence, and obedience.
