Stand therefore, girding your waist with truth, and putting on the breastplate of righteousness, and binding shoes under your feet with the preparation of the good news of peace

Finally, become strong in the Lord and in the might of his strength.

“Honor your father and mother” (which is the first commandment with a promise), “in order that it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the earth.”

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
