The one who is faithful inthe things that are least is also faithful in much; and the one who is unrighteous in the things that are least is also unrighteous in much.

No servant is able to serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and he will love the other; or he will hold to the one and will despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Therefore, if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another’s, who will give to you your own?

And he said to him, ‘If they will not hear Moses and the prophets, they would not be persuaded even if one rose from the dead.’ ”

Everyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and everyone who marries a woman who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.
