A Spirit-Filled Movement: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Mission

DAY 3 OF 7

Multiplication, Not Addition

The early church grew rapidly not by addition, but by multiplication. Three thousand were added in one day, then more every day, then entire households and communities. What fueled this growth? Spirit-filled believers sharing the gospel relationally.

Movements spread when ordinary people pass the message along. The early church met in homes, shared meals, and invited friends. Growth wasn’t dependent on programs or buildings but on people empowered by the Spirit.

This same principle works today. We don’t need to reach everyone at once; we start with those closest to us, trusting God to multiply through relationships.

Reflection Question:
Who in your immediate circle, friends, family, coworkers could you begin sharing your faith with naturally?

About this Plan

A Spirit-Filled Movement: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Mission

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
