A Spirit-Filled Movement: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Missionনমুনা

Power to Witness
Before ascending to heaven, Jesus gave His followers a clear mission: “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” But He also promised that the power of the Holy Spirit would enable them to do what seemed impossible.
The Spirit’s power wasn’t for personal status or emotional highs; it was for mission. Pentecost proved this: believers spoke in other languages, proclaiming Jesus to people from every nation gathered in Jerusalem. God’s power was and still is given so that all people might hear the gospel.
If we forget the mission, we misunderstand the Spirit’s power. Spirit-filled movements exist to glorify Jesus and spread His message everywhere.
Reflection Question:
Do you see the Spirit’s power in your life primarily as a personal blessing or as equipping for mission? How might that shift today?

About this Plan

The single command Jesus gave his followers before igniting his movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised...” (Acts 1:4). He was telling them to wait and then move with the Spirit. For a movement to accomplish God's mission, it must be guided by the Spirit of God. We want to challenge every leader at Exponential with the big idea of Spirit-filled: Moving With The Spirit.
