CALLED TO HOLINESS

In a world that tugs at your heart from every side, what does it mean to live a life fully set apart, holy and totally devoted to God alone?

Holiness is not about being perfect. It is about being filled with the fullness of God, belonging fully to God. It is not about following rules or competing, but a heart fully surrendered to God. A heart set apart, purified and marked by His presence. God is not calling you to blend in, but to stand out! He is calling you to reflect His character and radiate His glory in a world desperate for light.

"Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God" (Romans 12:1). This is not just a command; it is a call to identity. It is a call to know who you are in Him. You are set apart, deeply loved and chosen to carry His presence into dark places. Holiness flows from who you are in Him.

God gives you the power to resist, the courage to stand and the wisdom to walk blamelessly before Him. It is absolutely possible to live a holy life, not by striving or hard labour, but when you truly just surrender your heart.

When you pursue holiness, you are not merely following rules or avoiding sin; you are honouring Jesus by (to name a few):

·Obeying God when it costs you – "To obey is better than sacrifice…" (1 Samuel 15:22).

·Loving what He loves and hating what He hates – "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good." (Romans 12:9).

·Worshipping Him through your lifestyle – "…present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service." (Romans 12:1).

All these are small choices, each one saying, "Jesus, You are worth it."

PRAYER

Lord, I want to be holy as You are holy. Set me apart from everything that pulls me away from You. Cleanse my heart and make me pure. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I may walk in obedience, love and truth. Help me to live in a way that brings glory to You in every area of my life.
