Behold the Lion of Godনমুনা

Day 6
Here on the final day of this plan, we want to reveal the secret of how the lions catch their prey. A lion’s claws are retractable and are used mostly when hunting. As with all cats, the lion’s claws play a key role in bringing down prey. Lions have more strength in their paws than any other feline species. The claws are razor sharp, and when the claws get dull, the outer layer sheds to reveal the sharp, new claw.
In Ephesians chapter 6, we find the believer's armor that we ought to wear at all times. We are clothed with pieces for defense and one singular piece for offence. But in the hands of the believers, we find the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit. The shield of faith is there to raise it up and to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, and the sword of the Spirit is described as a two-edged sword that is used to fight against the devil’s schemes. But Paul says we ought to use the Word of God in our witnessing for the Lord also. He says our labor we do for the Lord will be revealed by fire, therefore, we need to use the Word of God in our witnessing. Not our own opinions or ideas or conclusions, we need to use the word of God when we witness for Jesus because His word will not return to Him void. It is our responsibility to always keep our swords sharp, for whenever, in and out of season, we need to use them, we can do so effectively.
Jesus, being the Alpha Lion, also has His weapons in His hands to conquer the enemy and claim His possession of a holy people. The book of Revelation states that Jesus carries the keys of death and the grave in His hand, which means He has all authority over death and the grave. Everything concerning life or death should first pass through the authority of Jesus. Nothing happens without His permission. Now, think about that, that is what I call authority on the next level. Everything that happens in heaven, on earth, and under the earth has to be approved or disapproved by Jesus.
When a male lion comes in for the kill on a desired prey, he will use his claws to bring the prey down, but he will use his teeth to make the final kill. Jesus, the Lion of Judah, is seen as having a sharp double-edged sword coming from His mouth. So, Jesus carries authority in His hands and the all-powerful word of God comes out of His mouth to claim the territory that He wants, to claim the souls that He desires. And the word that comes from His mouth is also a word of judgment. Those who are not willing to repent of their sin will face the Son of God and the Ancient of Days on the final Day of Judgment. Then they will be cast into eternal damnation, because the words that come from the mouth of the Alpha Lion will be words of judgment instead of healing. Should people choose to believe in the message of the gospel today, they can find healing for their sins. Should they choose to disobey the message of the gospel, they will find a very tragic end for all eternity.
You, who are reading this plan, have been called by the Lion of Judah; you have been chosen by Jesus and called by name to bear witness for His glory. Make Jesus known everywhere you can. The Bible gives us a promise that at the NAME of JESUS every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that HE is LORD, that HE is KING, and that HE is the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH.

About this Plan

Throughout Scripture and especially the New Testament, we find a lot of analogies being used to describe the character and the role of Jesus Christ towards us, as humanity. In this plan, we will look at the similarities between Jesus and a lion, and how and why we need to connect to Him as the Lion of God. Another plan to read together with this one: "Behold the Lamb of God"
