Life IS...عينة

Preparation This journey will require you to be open to releasing everything that has possibly held you captive and prevented you from BEING all that God has called and created you to be. In Life, we prepare for many things; preparation for college, preparation for that job you've always wanted, preparation for buying your first home, and the list could go on.  But how often do you prepare to meet YOU?  That person you see when you look in the mirror who looks back at you. The YOU that thinks you have it all together until God drops the projection screen and begins to play the movie regarding your life. I remember the journey of preparation God took me on when I started writing Life IS .  It took me three years to finish the book because I had to face things in my own life before I could help others. Things like unforgiveness, resentment, being vindictive, and learning how to love unconditionally.  There were nights  I cried because I realized these areas in my life were holding me back from being all that I was created to be. Have I been totally healed? No. There are areas I call my "triggers" that God is still working on.  I can say that I am not the person I use to be, and I praise God for that. As you start this first day, prepare to meet the authentic YOU. For the next 14-days, commit to yourself that you will allow God to unveil those areas in your life - the good, the bad, and the ugly - so that in the end you will be in a better place, spiritually, physically, and mentally. The projection screen of your life has just dropped down.  The commercials are over, and you have given God permission to roll the film. What you do with what is revealed is ultimately up to you. Reflection: 1 ) As you sit quietly, what areas in your life do you need to deal with? 2) Are you prepared for those things locked away in the recesses of your mind to be unlocked, so that they are not "soft spots" for the enemy to use against you? Prayer: Father, for the next 14-days, I'm committing to spiritual self-care. As I avail myself to you, I will be in a better place than before I started this journey. Amen.
