Being Missional in Isolationعينة

FOLLOWERS AND FISHERMEN / AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST As followers of Jesus, we are commanded to identify with Jesus (this is what baptism chiefly represents). We identify with his death, burial, and resurrection. We identify with his body, the called-out ones, the church (both local and global). We identify with his mission by obeying his every word and every command. In today’s passages, it is quite clear that our new identity comes with responsibility. Let these passages set the pace for the remainder of this reading plan. Isolation is not an excuse to not share the life-giving gospel of Jesus. We are commanded to do these things regardless of circumstances. We simply need to be creative and entrust our efforts to the Lord. We cannot control how effective we are, but we are responsible for how faithful we are!
