Your Greatest Achievement I’m someone who wants to be successful in life. I’m often frustrated by the limitations that money, time, and health place upon our ability to achieve. No matter what I do, I always want more! It’s not that my goals are necessarily selfish. I’d like to think that I’m ambitious for God. As I prayed about this the other day, it was as if the Lord said to me, “Do you want to know what the greatest achievement is in your life? In any person’s life? Here it is: the greatest achievement you can have is to have accepted the salvation that Jesus Christ offers to you.” The most successful person on earth is the one who has accepted salvation through Christ, and who, as a result, has been born again. With Jesus, an eternity of glorious achievements awaits you. Does this sound too simple for you? But it’s the truth. Believe in Jesus Christ and accept the eternal life that he offers you. Then God will start to work out his will in your life throughout eternity, and your achievements throughout eternity will exceed your wildest dreams (John 3:16). You don’t have to be anxious about tomorrow, or about anything in this life at all. If you’ve accepted Jesus as your friend, it’s never the end of the road. With Jesus, we can be free of the stress of performance and achievement, because the secret to these is the power of God in our lives.
