He took a risk under great oppression and rejection. He chose to lead the Civil Rights Movement that would forever change the laws of our land, but he also built relationships between the races in spite of the atmosphere of the nation at the time. When you take a risk on God, you’re taking a risk worth taking. And when you are doing it because you have been called to the kingdom, called to His rule and His purpose, then there are eternal benefits to taking such a risk. So, if you’re going to take a bet, bet on God because He is worth the risk.
