Day 7: It All Comes Together

Congratulations—you have made it to the final day of The Way of the Marksmen Plan! As we wrap up, we reflect on how the principles of this journey—faithfulness, humility, compassion, and more—culminate in a call to live as a true follower of Jesus. This is the heart of everything you’ve learned: becoming a better disciple, leader, and man through your relationship with Christ.

At the core of your growth is the understanding that only God can transform your life. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” No mentor, pastor, or friend can do the work that only God Himself can accomplish. This truth requires us to stay connected to Him daily, allowing His Spirit to guide and grow us into the men we are called to be.

The next step is simple yet profound: live out what you’ve learned. Following Jesus is not about idle comfort but about action. Jesus said, “Give as freely as you have received!” (Matthew 10:8). This means taking the lessons you’ve gained and sharing them with others—encouraging and challenging the men in your life to follow Christ with the same passion and commitment. Your journey is not meant to end here but to continue as you disciple others, just as Jesus discipled His followers.

As you step forward, consider the legacy you’re building. Through faith in Christ, you are creating a new chapter for your family and community. 1 Peter 2:10 reminds us, “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” This is the transformative power of the Gospel—a life redeemed, a legacy rewritten, and a purpose restored.

Finally, stay focused on Jesus, the source of all you need. As He says in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Let this truth anchor your life, guiding your steps and shaping your decisions. There is no greater purpose than following Him.

Take a moment to thank God for how far you’ve come and to commit to the next steps in your journey. Stay connected to Him, share what you’ve learned, and trust Him to continue shaping you into the man He’s called you to be. This is the way of a marksman—a man who lives with focus, faith, and the courage to follow Jesus wherever He leads.
