Day 6 | Taking the Little Moments

Has God ever called you away just to be with Him? Do you just wait until Sunday church or the next worship and prayer night to be with Him? Or do you take every moment you can throughout your day and week just to spend time with Him? Most believers love to worship God at church and big gatherings and lavish their love on Him, but what about all the “in between” moments?

Each and every day, there is an invitation for you to worship Him at all times! At work, at school, on your drives, cooking dinner, or even folding laundry! Many opportunities to adore Him are missed if we wait until Sunday to pour our Adoration on Him. He is longing just to be with you and for you to acknowledge Him in everyday life.

What if praise could be your default heart posture throughout the day? The angels in heaven circle around the throne and day and night they never fail to say “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty!” (Rev 4:8).

Prayer

Thank you Lord that I don’t have wait wait for a corporate encounter to worship you! I chose to worship you now each day in my daily encounter! You are worthy of all my praise. You are worthy of all worship. Thank you for being so near God. Teach me how to draw closer to You each and ever day. In Your name I pray, amen.

• Practice taking little moments today to declare your love for God.
• Moments like washing dishes, doing laundry, or walking from one room to the next, are great opportunities to invite Him into your day and pour your love out on Him.
