Homes on Fire预览

A Place of Communion
As we become intimate with God, we love Him and those around us more. God's love is manifested in GIVING. It is his nature. Because he loved you, he GAVE his son. Intimacy leads us to know and imitate our Father, who always gave himself. His desire is to bless, give, help us move forward, and to progress to the best version of ourselves.
In Isaiah 56, we see that God wants his blessings to be for all people, to reach all nations. By having His heart, we can open the doors of our homes to give, by grace, from what we have received..
Our home, ruled by heaven, becomes a place of intimacy, purity, safety, health, and communion. It is a place of joy because there is joy in His presence. All of this can be shared, even without words, simply by being who he has called us to be.
It is better to give than to receive. The family that burns in the fire of the Spirit becomes a source for those around them.
People need to see God in the daily life of Christian families. This does not mean praying all the time or acting holy, but by reflecting the character of Jesus by loving and being loved.
Challenge
· What families can you connect with?
· Pray for them and ask the Lord how to approach them
· Plan activities together (a meal, an outing, quality time and communion)
