See Clearly: A Holy Week Devotional预览

Saturday: Sorrow Blurring Our Sight
The disciples saw only loss, unaware of the coming victory.
Key Verse: “And all his acquaintances and the women who had followed him from Galilee stood at a distance, watching these things.” — Luke 23:49
Saturday was silent. Jesus was in the tomb, and the disciples were overwhelmed by grief. Their vision was blurred by sorrow, unable to see that hope was still alive.
Disappointment can cloud our faith. When prayers seem unanswered, when God feels distant, when grief weighs heavy—it’s easy to lose sight of the promise. But just because we don’t see movement doesn’t mean God isn’t working.
The disciples saw only loss, but in reality, resurrection was just hours away. Faith is holding on when clarity is absent. Jesus wasn’t finished on Saturday, and He isn’t finished with your story either.
Reflection Questions:
- Have you ever felt like God was silent? How did you hold onto faith in that season?
- What would it look like to trust that resurrection is coming, even when you feel stuck in Saturday?
