Share the Gospel

Another part of being set apart is sharing our faith with others. In 1 Peter 3:15, Peter says, “You must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.” We must always be prepared to share our faith with others when given the opportunity. It’s a big part of our role as believers. We have this responsibility to share the most incredible news we have ever received with others and help them understand more of the hope that we have. When we say “no” to things because they are not good for us, we need to be able to have a response when people question us and be willing to share our faith despite the weird looks or comments people may have about us. Being set apart means that you lead by example in how you respond to things around you and how you share your faith with others.

Some questions to ask yourself when it comes to sharing your faith: Do you have an answer for why you believe what you believe? Do you know what the gospel is? How are you actively sharing your faith with others? When was the last time you talked with someone about your faith? How are you actively serving the people around you? Ultimately, If someone comes up to you and asks you a question about your faith, are you prepared to answer and share what you know and believe with that person?

Application: Write down what the gospel is and share it with at least two people this week.
