How do we discover what our gifts and talents are? What are the things you’re good at and enjoy doing? What are the things that other people might say, “You’re so good at this” or “You’re really gifted at that”?

Discovering what our gifts are is all part of the adventure of life with Jesus. We can try different things and see where we fit. Give things a go! You might never know that you’re the world’s best artist if you never try, so pick up a paint brush. You might be great at meeting new people and inviting them to come to church, but first you need to give it a go, so say “Hi” and get to know someone.

There are things that we seem naturally good at doing but it still takes practice and hard work. These may be the very things God has gifted you to do. God gives us these gifts so we can help others. Don’t be shy with the gifts God has given you. Use them boldly; use them to show God’s love as you serve others.
