SOAP – 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 The message of the gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He endured God’s punishment for our sin so that we could be pardoned. He died so that we might live. He was victorious over death so that we would experience victory in life. The gospel seems foolish to unbelievers, but it is the power and wisdom of God to those who believe. Where do you need the strength and courage to stand firm in the faith and to commit to the work of God? Jesus Christ’ death, burial, and resurrection have made it possible for us to live a new life with divine power and strength to live for Him. Father God, I thank You that Your people battle together in this world from a place of victory. Help me to face the hardships of this world with joy and cheer without fear of what may happen to me. Help me to rest on Your promises for me and not my desire for a painless and trouble-free life. Continue to show me how to keep You lifted high above all of my troubles on this earth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
