This week focuses on the death and resurrection of Jesus. These events were a central reason why Jesus had come and what his whole ministry pointed towards. Because of the advent ‘arrival’ of Jesus, there is also an advent of the kingdom of God on earth. We are commissioned to go and make disciples of the kingdom of God in all we do as we remain connected to Jesus.
This week let’s ask ourselves:
- How can our lives be used to bring about an advent of the kingdom of God in others?

During this advent season as MyLocal church, we want to look at the life of Jesus and his incredible message to humanity. We believe Jesus is the Messiah prophesied about in the Hebrew Bible: Emmanuel, 'God with us'. In this winter season we remember hope despite the circumstances.
