Pray For Your Baby - Day 2 Pregnancy Prayer — Truth Dear Lord, You are the faithful witness, You are the ruler of the kings of the earth, and You are truth. You are the way and the truth and the life; and no one comes to the Father, except through You. Lord, help my baby growing inside of me to do whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, and whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, let my baby think about such things. I pray that my child will not only love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth. I pray that You alone, Jesus, will take hold of my child’s heart, both now and forevermore, and right now, I speak truth into my baby’s life. Holy Spirit, let my baby feel a tug inside of his or her heart when something is not right. Help me to encourage my child to seek truth all of the days of his or her life through my words and by my actions. I’m sorry that I am not always a good example of this. Lord, please forgive me. Jesus, please instill honesty into my child’s heart, because I know that is pleasing to You. Help my child not to lie, but to be honest in all situations. Let him or her open Your Book of Truth, Your Word, anytime my child is struggling with dishonesty. Please, let Your righteous Words of Truth jump off the paper into his or her heart—because, You Lord, always speak truth, and You are Truth! In Your righteous name I pray, Amen
