Section III. The Gospel to the Non-Jews

Luke-Acts, and the Pauline Epistles

This section picks up where Deuteronomy left off, introducing Jesus as another Moses—a baby born under the danger of execution who flees to Egypt for refuge. This section is also written to a non-Jewish audience. Luke wrote his gospel and the book of Acts to Theophilus, who many believe to be a prominent Roman citizen.

Paul wrote all of his letters to a non-Jewish audience, and even calls himself “the apostle to the Gentiles” (Galatians 2:8).

The Four Gospels And The Bible That Jesus Read

This plan is broken up into 7 sections. 4 New Testament sections beginning with a different gospel, and 3 Old Testament sections, composed of one of the sections of the TaNaK. (The Law, The Prophets, & The Writings.) Each OT section ends by pointing forward to the Messiah to come and then is followed by a gospel of the One who came.
