Have you ever read the book of Acts? Did you know that the book of the acts of real Christians has never stopped? This reading plan is the first part where we will see what the book of Acts wants to say to us.

Walking Through the Book of Acts - Part 1

Chapter 1 of Acts sets the stage as it were for the events that occurred on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2.  It highlights how the Apostles were equipped and empowered to spread the word of God, starting from Jerusalem and eventually to the ends of the earth.

Deeper Into Scripture is  a methodology of scripture reading that instructs, encourages and equips people to read God's Word daily and deeply.  We have created a unique four-fold method of bible reading that directs the individual to read a short passage of scripture four times.  Each reading is done with a different question, instruction or objective to be considered.  This repetitive reading takes us deeply into the Word of God, increases our understanding and draws us closer to Him.

How we view our work – in service to ourselves or in service to others – makes all the difference in our ability to be witnesses for Christ. Paul gives us a powerful example of what it looks like to shift from self-interest to serving others so that we can be a light for Christ at work.

Do you struggle to let go? Do you hold on to money, bitterness, blessings, or anything else too tightly? In this Plan, we will search our hearts for what may lie at the root of our clinging to the status quo. I pray that we reach the other side of the next seven days lighter and more free in Christ.


Show Me Your Hands

(Part three of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.
