The Letter to the Colossians and the Letter to PhilemonÀpẹrẹ

How could Paul better begin a letter against the "Colossian heresy" than with Jesus himself? In Colossians 1:15–20, we find the so-called "Christ Hymn"—a song of praise to Jesus. No power, no wisdom, no teaching is equal to Him. Everything was created through Him.
Jesus is far more than just human: In Him dwells all the fullness of God—His being, His holiness, His love, His truth, and His power (cf. Colossians 2:9). And this great, holy Jesus has reconciled us with God once and for all. In Him, we have everything we need—and much more!
Write down the Christ Hymn (Colossians 1:15–20) or save it on your smartphone. Set an hourly reminder for today and reread the verses. This Jesus is with you—and for you!
