This Is Just the Beginning

Spiritual formation is a lifelong journey.
It’s not about reaching a finish line. It’s about walking with Jesus, day by day, step by step, for the sake of becoming like Him and joining His renewal of the world.

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” (Philippians 1:6)
“Spiritual formation is a process of being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others.”
Robert Mulholland, Invitation to a Journey

There is always more to learn and discover. This is an invitation to a lifelong adventure to know and follow Jesus. Everyday wont be the biggest or the best and following Jesus doesn't make my problems disappear. But stick at it and in the months to come you will look back and see how much Jesus has done in your life and be wowed!

Ask yourself or a friend:

  • What has shifted in me over the past 7 days?
  • What’s the next right step in following Jesus—not perfectly, but faithfully?

As we finish this series, lets pray together

Jesus,
You’ve called me to follow You—
not perfectly, but honestly.
Not from a distance, but up close.

I don’t have all the answers.
But I want to walk with You.
To be with You, become like You, and do what You did.

So today I say yes.
Yes to Your grace.
Yes to Your voice.
Yes to Your way, even when it’s hard.

Shape me.
Lead me.
Form me for Your purposes—
not just for my sake, but for the sake of others.

I give You my yes.
And I ask for Your Spirit to help me keep saying it, one step at a time.

Amen.
