Multivitamins - Fuel Your Faith in 5-Minutes (Pt. 3)Àpẹrẹ

Day 30: All The Way To The Cross
Have you ever been prone to judge someone based on the actions they have chosen to take? I know I have. Sometimes, we can look at a person’s lifestyle, their choices, their words and actions and find ourselves making a judgement.
This is of course not the wisest thing to do. We find in scripture that Jesus had some stern words to say to those who found themselves judging a woman who had made some bad choices…
“And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8:7 ESV)
Those of you who have read this story before will know that, of course, no one was able to throw a stone at the woman because no one was without sin themselves.
Each of us can be guilty of not doing right by God from time to time and it's therefore not really our place to judge somebody else’s sin as worse than our own. As you pray today, why not take some time to apologise to God for the judgements you may made towards others recently? We're only human after all. Instead, let’s be those who choose grace over judgement, humility over assumption, and compassion over critique. None of us get it right all the time, but with God’s help, we can keep becoming more like Jesus, day by day.
Journal Prompt: Ask God to reveal any judgemental attitudes in your heart. How can you respond with grace instead?
