A Year in Luke/ActsÀpẹrẹ

At Pentecost, the Wind of the Spirit comes and inhabits the people of God as new Temples. As Jesus has become the One who inhabits Heaven with a human body, humans are empowered in His Image with the Spirit to bring Heaven back to Earth.

NT Wright comments:

“The point, putting together Acts 1 and 2, is this: Jesus and his people together constitute the new Temple, the heaven-on-earth place, the launching of new creation” (p23, The Challenge of Acts).
