A Year in Luke/Acts

It is telling that it was as Jesus broke bread that the two disciples realized who He was (vv 30-31). There is something about receiving Communion that opens up something of the Mystery of the Gospel to us. We see something of Jesus in a new way every time we take it. In the midst of doubting we are invited into a Meal that speaks to us of New Life through death.

Take some time to journal today about how you understand Communion and its significance.
