Nitori gẹgẹ bi òjo ati ojo-didì ti iti ọrun wá ilẹ, ti kì isi tun pada sọhun, ṣugbọn ti o nrin ilẹ, ti o si nmu nkan hù jade ki o si rudi, ki o le fi irú fun awọn afúnrúgbìn, ati onjẹ fun ọjẹun: Bẹ̃ni ọ̀rọ mi ti o ti ẹnu mi jade yio ri: kì yio pada sọdọ mi lofo, ṣugbọn yio ṣe eyiti o wù mi, yio si ma ṣe rere ninu ohun ti mo rán a. Nitori ayọ̀ li ẹ o fi jade, alafia li a o fi tọ́ nyin: awọn oke-nla ati awọn oke kékèké yio bú si orin niwaju nyin, gbogbo igi igbẹ́ yio si ṣapẹ́. Igi firi yio hù jade dipò ẹgún, igi mirtili yio hù jade dipò oṣuṣu: yio si jẹ orukọ fun Oluwa, fun àmi aiyeraiye, ti a kì yio ke kuro.
