Бо як ви віддавали ваші члени в рабство нечистоті й беззаконню для беззаконня, так тепер віддайте ваші члени в рабство праведності — для освячення. Бо коли ви були рабами гріха, то були вільні від праведності. Який же плід ви тоді мали? Його ви нині соромитеся, бо його кінець — смерть. Нині ж, звільнившись від гріха і ставши рабами Бога, маєте ваш плід — освячення, а кінець — вічне життя. Адже заплата за гріх — смерть, а Божий дар благодаті — вічне життя в Ісусі Христі, нашому Господі.
