## Day 1: WHOLEHEARTED LOVE “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” MATTHEW 22:37–38 RECITE GOD’S GOODNESS Precious Lord, You created my spouse for Yourself, and You delight in them when they are wholeheartedly devoted to You. How kind You are to dwell in the hearts of those who belong to You! EXPRESS YOUR NEEDINESS God, give my spouse a heart that hungers and thirsts to know You more. May they bow their knees in service and worship to You alone. Fill their heart with Your great love so that it overflows into the lives of those around them. Make them quick to forgive others, as You have forgiven them that they may extend Your mercy and kindness to all who they meet today. SEEK HIS STILLNESS Take a few moments to become aware of God’s loving presence surrounding you, your spouse, and your family this very moment. Is there anything He wants to say to you? TRUST HIS FAITHFULNESS Lord God, we love because You first loved us. So even though I can’t change my spouse, I will choose to trust that You will continue Your good work in their life. I rest in Your strength, and I will wait expectantly to see what You will do.
