Day Two 

Everything’s a Gift - We always celebrate and practice thankfulness! We choose to focus on how great God is. We are thankful for everything in our lives and the people around us.  

READ:

Washing the Disciples' Feet in any Children's Bible or John 13:3-30.

After supper Jesus filled a bowl with water and washed and dried His disciples' feet. This was an unusual thing to do because it was the job of a servant.  

ASK:

Can you remember if all the disciples were happy for Jesus to wash their feet? 

Read what Peter says to Jesus again. Why do you think Peter felt like this? 

We can learn so much from reading the Bible. What can you learn from this story today? 

REMEMBER:

Psalm 9:1 

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

SAY:

My God is good, 

He is awesome and great.

He helps me be strong,

Even when I’m afraid. 

I will say thank you,

For all He has done.

For me and my people, 

He loves everyone.
