## Open Doors Do you ever wonder why you don’t have more opportunities to engage in significant spiritual conversations? Maybe it's because you have forgotten to knock. It begins with prayer. God opens the door of opportunity for you to enter into other people’s spiritual journeys. Unless God in his grace was at work in that person’s life, the door of the heart would remain closed. The apostle Paul understood this. He prayed and enlisted others to pray that God would open doors for his message. God did so in many cities, such as Troas (2 Corinthians 2:12), and with many individuals, such as Lydia (Acts 16:14). The more we pray for open doors, the more opportunities we can expect. And nothing is more exciting than to enter into the life journey of a friend or acquaintance when God has been at work opening the door and preparing the heart. Thought: Open doors are the product of answered prayers.
