Prayer is communication with God. As children of God, as warriors in His army, we have the privilege to boldly approach the throne of God and speak with the Self-Existent Creator of the Universe.
> Because of this excellent gift through Jesus, we have the responsibility to never pray to anything or anyone else.
Prayers of the Bible.
* First Prayer: Genesis 3:8-13
* Sinner’s Prayer: Luke 18:13-14
* Disciple’s Prayer: Matthew 6:9-13
* Lord’s Prayer: John 17
* Paul’s Prayer: Ephesians 3:14-21
(Note: What is traditionally called “The Lord’s Prayer” is not a prayer Jesus could have prayed. It is a prayer he instructed His disciples to pray, so I have labeled it as such)
Challenge:
* Memorize Ephesians 3:20
* Be intentional about your prayer today, if you don’t know what to say – pray today’s Psalm. All Psalms are prayers, you can pray them every day.
