This Thing Called Mercy

DAY 2 OF 4

When there is mercy in your life, you will win.

Saul began with mercy: anointed, chosen, and empowered by God. He prophesied, led with grace, and was surrounded by men whose hearts God had touched. But stubbornness and pride led to the withdrawal of God’s mercy from his life.

Every answered prayer is a sign of mercy. Without it, even the gifted fall into error. When God’s mercy is withdrawn, prayers go unanswered. The person moves from error to error, from light to darkness, from strength to weakness.

Anointing without mercy is a disaster. Mercy is the difference between preservation and destruction. When mercy leaves a person, they are completely finished.

May you never lose the mercy that keeps children of God standing.

Prayer:

Lord, may Your mercy never be withdrawn from my life. Keep me humble, obedient, and tender-hearted before You. Let Your mercy preserve me and my generation. In Jesus’ name, amen.

About this Plan

This Thing Called Mercy

Mercy is a divine mystery, a gift given by God to those whose hearts are open to receive it. It cannot be earned or bought, yet it transforms everything it touches. The Lord delights in showing mercy, choosing when, where, and to whom He extends it. Through this plan, we explore the dimensions of God’s mercy: not receiving the punishment we deserve and receiving the blessings we do not deserve. As you journey through these teachings, may your heart be softened to receive His mercy anew, and may your life become a living testimony that mercy still speaks.
