Time to RiseНамуна

Persevering—Rising Every Day
Rising isn’t just for conference highs or crisis moments. It’s a daily choice, woven into quiet mornings, weary afternoons, and unnoticed acts of faithfulness.
I know how easy it is to get tired—tired of believing, tired of waiting, tired of trying to do the right thing when it doesn’t seem to change much. But God sees. He knows the battles you fight behind the scenes.
Paul encourages, “Let us not grow weary in doing good…” (Galatians 6:9, MEV). Why? Because there’s a harvest for those who keep rising, who don’t quit on the promises of God. Isaiah’s promise is for anyone who feels out of strength: “But those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31, MEV).
Pressing on in faith isn’t glamorous. Some days it’s simply getting out of bed, opening your Bible, or praying one more time. Paul writes, “I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14, MEV). That’s perseverance—not perfection, but persistence.
Every time you rise again, the darkness loses. Every time you choose faith, heaven rejoices. You are not forgotten; you are renewing your strength in the One who never grows weary.
Reflection Questions:
- Where in your life are you most tempted to give up?
- What habit could help you keep rising daily, even when you don’t feel like it?
- Which promise of God helps you persevere through discouragement?
Prayer:
Lord, I need Your strength to keep rising, especially when life feels heavy. Renew my hope, steady my heart, and help me see my daily faithfulness matters to You. I choose to press on in Your power. Amen.
