30 Days of Praying for Children and FamiliesНамуна

This short verse holds enormous truth both about God and about us. Did you notice what we learn about ourselves in this verse?
God’s strength is for the weary, for the faint, for those whom their strength is failing.
Perhaps you’re feeling weary today. Like you’re giving out again and again and seemingly never filled up. Or perhaps you’re simply tired, worn down by the daily routine.
We worship a God who is almighty, strong, and on the throne. He longs to renew our strength. He longs to lift us up on wings like eagles.
And all we need to do is put our hope in him. Where else are you placing your hope? Take a moment to intentionally place your hope into the hands of God now.
Prayer
As you pack a bag for yourself or someone else today, take a moment to pray.
Bring your weariness to the Lord, asking for his peace to strengthen you.
Pray for the young people and children you know, who are weary with life and in need of God’s strength. Pray they would place their hope in him and know his power.
Now pray for the children and young people who are unknown to you but known to God. For those entering the care system this year. Pray for them as they prepare for this day, and may be carrying all kinds of anxieties into their day. Pray for peace, for supportive friends, and caring adults.
