Bruised Yet Called

DAY 7 OF 7

DAY 7: BRUISED YET CALLED

THE WORD

  • Isaiah 61:1 – “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”

The final truth is this: your bruises have never canceled your calling. God’s call on your life is irrevocable — it cannot be withdrawn, revoked, or erased by circumstances. Though pressed, persecuted, and struck down, you are still standing, because the Spirit of the Lord is upon you.

The Spirit declares healing, freedom, and purpose over your life. You are not broken beyond repair, and you are not forgotten. Every bruise has been a preparation for the oil of anointing that flows from your life. You are living proof that God calls the bruised, the broken, and the burdened — and makes them carriers of His glory.

You are bruised, but you are not disqualified. You are chosen, anointed, and called.

DECLARATIONS

  1. I declare that my calling is irrevocable and unshakable in Christ.
  2. I declare that I am anointed to proclaim freedom and healing.
  3. I declare that I may be pressed but I am not crushed.
  4. I declare that I am still standing by the power of God’s Spirit.
  5. I declare that I am bruised yet called, broken yet chosen, wounded yet anointed.

PRAYER FOCUS

Father, thank You that nothing can cancel Your call on my life. Thank You that though I have been bruised, I am not broken beyond repair. Heal every wound, restore every broken piece, and fill me with the oil of Your Spirit.

Holy Spirit, help me to walk daily in the fullness of my calling. Let my bruises become testimonies, my scars become songs, and my life become a living witness of Your grace. May I boldly proclaim that I am bruised yet called, for the glory of Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

Bruised Yet Called

Bruised Yet Called by Marcus Mooki reminds us that scars don’t disqualify us—they prepare us. Through the stories of Joseph, Moses, David, and Esther, discover how God turns pain into purpose. Each day offers Scripture, teaching, declarations, and prayers to strengthen your faith and bring healing. Even when life leaves you bruised, you are not forgotten—you are chosen, anointed, and still called to walk boldly in God’s purpose.
