“Not so with you” are four powerful words! Jesus says it’s typical for leaders to gain influence by doing things like controlling, arrogance, intimidation, bragging, or asserting their power around over everyone. Jesus invites us—His followers—into a better way; a way that seems backward and upside down. Jesus says if we want to be great, we should choose to serve others. When we serve, people experience God’s love through us. Imagine how experiencing God’s love could change someone’s outlook on life. Today, find someone you can serve in a big or small way.
