Hearing From God's WordНамуна

Jesus at the Center
Imagine sitting in that synagogue as Jesus read from Isaiah 61. The people thought they were hearing about a future Messiah—but Jesus declared, “Today this is fulfilled.” In other words: “This is about Me.”
From Genesis to Revelation, Jesus is the thread holding the story together. In Genesis, He is the promised Seed. In Exodus, the Passover Lamb. In the Prophets, the promised King. In the Gospels, the One who came. In Revelation, the returning Lord. Without Him, the whole story falls apart.
This is why the Bible is not just a collection of moral lessons or inspirational sayings. It is the revelation of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer.
When you open your Bible, don’t just look for principles to live by. Look for the Person it points to. Ask yourself, “What does this text show me about Jesus?”
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You that all of Scripture points to You. Open my eyes to see You in every page, and deepen my love for You as I hear Your Word.

About this Plan

Every Sunday for thousands of years, God’s people have gathered to sing His praise, to pray together, and—at the very center—to hear His Word read and proclaimed. This is not a modern church invention—it’s the way God has always met with His people. The Word is not an accessory to worship—it’s the anchor of worship.
