30 Day Battle-Ready Challenge - Leadership for Christian MenНамуна

Day 27: Move in Faith
Reflection: Taking the first step is often the hardest.
I’ll never forget when someone asked me, “Can you teach an adult Sunday School class?” At the time, I was relatively new in my faith—at least when it came to truly living it out daily. The thought of teaching God’s Word to others was overwhelming.
Doubt and fear hit me immediately. My instinctive answer was no. But then the Holy Spirit began stirring something in me. I couldn’t shake the conviction. I remembered the saying: “God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called.” That truth gave me the confidence to say yes.
The first class? Rough. My nerves were through the roof. But God showed up—as He always does. Week after week, I found my rhythm. Preparation for teaching drove me deeper into Scripture, and over time, I discovered something powerful: God had given me the Spiritual gift of teaching. That calling didn’t surface until I was willing to take that first step.
Here’s the reality: faith requires movement. Fear will paralyze you if you let it. But when you take that step of obedience—even when it feels risky—that’s when God shows up and shows out.
Battle-ready men know this: the blessings are often found on the other side of faithful obedience.
Mission: Every day presents an opportunity to take a bold step of faith—especially in the areas that feel uncertain.
Field Order: What step has God been prompting you to take—but you’ve been avoiding? The time is now. Take that step today.
